little man updates

as much as i would like to get on here daily and write about life and little guy's updates, it's never quite attainable. so i've composed a list of the cute new changes & little things our growing baby has been doing (besides the fit throwing - which i have very well been able to work w/ to calm quickly lately...fully rested seems to be absolutely key here!). here goes...
*we've been doing this fabulous toddler & mommy work out video which has been a blast! and it really does kick my butt while giving him a good time (picture me doing lunges & squats while holding a baby!)
*he's up to date on his animal sounds while making lion noises is his favorite
*the other night, he had pureed spinach stirred in w/ his mac & chz, and he decided to have a hay day w/ it and we knew he would so we stripped him down. there was spinach everywhere! he even had it in his hair in the back, this little curl of hair came up to form the "spinach curl". cute!
*he's been banging his head in the form of dancing, it's too cute
*3+ weeks now of no runny noses or coughs or ear infections!!!
*he's not a huge talker yet, but he is so smart! in books w/ objects labeled, he can point everything out to you. we practice saying this slow & over pronounciating but he just doesn't want to talk much (although he is GREAT at telling you what is yucky or hot...) ;)
*he started blowing actual kisses a few days ago. i mean puckering of the lips making a smacking sound and all. i love it. the teacher at daycare yesterday said that's all he did w/ her yesterday afternoon...
*he is FABULOUS w/ requests & commands like, go get a book so we can read - he'll go pick out his favorite book and bring it to us & sit in our lap. he'll put things back and even hand us our keys when they're w/in reach of him because he knows they're no-no's...
*he gladly holds our hands while we pray, i'm sure he doesn't understand what it means but it's cute how he likes to join in.
we have his 18 month well check appt (we skipped his 15 month since he was getting sick & going to the doc so much i couldn't dare bring him again...) so we'll update on the "percentages" stuff...


bath fun time!


















one of his favorite things to do is play on our bed amidst all the covers & pillows. he'll just stiffly throw himself forward or back, it's scary but atleast he knows to do it in the middle of the bed so he doesn't fall off (he did that once doing a summersault too close to the edge)...bombs away!
