forgive my complaining, i'm really fine...
so, today i went to the doctor w/ hubby & baby to get baby's flu shot (i normally wouldn't do that to him, but...i work around sick people 36 hours a week, how could i dare to bring anything home to him???). in examination after the shot, it appears to be that little man has a double ear infection. A-FREAKING-GAIN. the 5th time. the doc said if he gets another one soon, he'll have to get tubes put in his ears. baaaaaaaaaahhhhhh...i am SOOOOOO OVER THIS!!!!!!! (ok i'm sure he is too...) i want him to stop having a runny nose! i want him to stop coughing! i want to feel safe with him playing around other children again! i want his ears to stop hurting him!!! i want to stop feeling paranoid that everywhere i take him and everything he touches is going to get him sick again. and most of all, i want him to feel normal again. poor little guy...
and then, after the appointment, i went to try on bras. (too much info? stop reading here...) it is confirmed (i had a sneaking suspicion but now it's absolutely true...) that i am SMALLER than before i got pregnant. goodbye b's, in come the a's. remember junior high? well, we're back there. my belly is bigger than my boobs. momma definitely feel sexy no more. i had to have a chat of reality to myself today...no more affording anthropologie (i went in here this a.m. and suddenly felt like a lady again, surrounded by country smells and beauty, but then checked the prices and remembered that i can only dream anymore...) or urban outfitters, no more having time to keep up on the massages, facials and hair, no more time to work out as much as needed, no more time for dates with the husband because of life and a consistently sick baby, and definitely confirmed hard to find lingerie. arrrrrgggggghhhh...
tomorrow will be better. i SHALL be optimistic...i hope...

I feel ya with the smaller boobs bit! I used to be totally against implants for any reason barring it's original reconstructive intent. Now I'm definitely leaning towards a more liberal stance of reconstruction AND post-babies!
oh me too girl, i think about reconstruction all the time now...
when and if i ever have a baby, mine will go from what they are to nothing. :)
so yours will seem huge. i'll be sure to keep you in the loop if that happens. promise.
p.s., you are beautiful :)
awww, *blushing* thanks lady :)
