holiday!

here's what we did on thanksgiving...







just kidding. we had a fabulous holiday w/ the inlaws! i always love being with family. we had a big-o meal and then went and saw four christmases, it was good laughs.
this morning i attempted (for the first time ever-i was always on the other side working it) black friday shopping. i got to target by our house when it opened at 6 and it was INSANE. what i went for was already gone so i went to joann fabrics to get some fabric thinking that it maybe wouldn't be insane, boy was i wrong. if i wanted to, i would've had to draw a number and stand at the back of the looong line to get fabric cut. so i left empty handed from there too. i was starting to get irritated. good thing i had a good hot cup of tea and ray lamontagne to keep me company. so i just went home & got the boys then we tried a different target and they had everything we were looking for...it was strange the difference in target's between neighborhoods, or maybe it was the time of day & they could restock already? or was it a sign of the economy between neighborhoods? anyhoo, here's some of the fun pics from our day yesterday...
































this a.m. elias had coffee and a muffin...it looks like coffee but really it's soy milk. this was his first time learning how to drink out of a lid like this. needless to say, we left with half the muffin into crumbs all over his lap, and shirt soaking wet from milk spillage, we had to take him outside to clean him off. it was so cute!
