our evening began in the power & light district at the k.c. rep theater for a one man play called "Clay". pretty good play about hip-hop and how a boy began his life in the hip-hop world...we ventured around kcp&l but there was too much cleavage and drunkoids floating around...so...
we went to the record bar and some pretty good bands were playing, pictured is run run run from california. kinda' like smashing pumpkins meets cave in, good stuff. i am going to have to remember to bring ear plugs everywhere i go now for spontaniety like lastnight, my ears are ringing like crazy on top of my already formed tinnitis...
anyway, we had a good nights' sleep & woke up early to see a beautiful downtown sunrise & have breakfast at yj's, a yummy little hold in the wall.
we then went to grandpa's to have our saturday morning ritual of donuts & coffee - and also to pick up the little tired one who didn't sleep too wonderfully over at grandma's...
