here's the little guy when we got to the hospital. he didn't have a clue as to what was going on...

as nerve wrecking as the whole experience was, he just looked so cute in that little hospital gown. he was walking around & playing in this little gown, i was so emotional over it all i just wanted to cry because he was so cute and i was so worried & excited all in one...
overall, the experience wasn't too shabby. they walked us back to the waiting room & took the babe, him screaming as we left made my heart sink...we sat in the waiting room a few minutes, i went downstairs real quick to grab some oj, came back up and the doc was already out talking to b! kind of scared us because he came out so fast, but the procedure was done. seriously took about 10 minutes total for the anesthesia & procedure. we waited a few more minutes 'til little guy woke up, then they came & grabbed us & we went back to the recovery room to see him totally disoriented & screaming, reaching for us as we walked thru the door. i ran to him. what else could i have done? he screamed 'til we left the hospital then he stopped, kinda out of it on the way home, but began perking up as the day went on. by evening he was laughing and playing like normal again! wow. i am amazed. i hope these things really work. i am so ready to have a happy little guy longer than just 4 or 5 day little pockets like we sadly got in between his ear infections over the past 6 months...

Hey Erica! I've been following your blog since we received your cute Christmas card. So glad to hear that all went well with the tubes procedure. We're hoping and praying that Nessa won't need them. We go back for another hearing screening after the end of the month....anyway-We'll be keeping little e in our prayers. Take Care!
